Thanks to the Casper Berger Family and Mindy Morgenstern’s Parents for their generous scholarships they’ve provided for some very deserving New Salem High School seniors. The recipients are very appreciative of these scholarships. Also thanks to the New Salem/Almont Dollars for Scholars Committee and other volunteers for their work in providing scholarships for our seniors.
What are the Seniors’ Plans?
As of graduation what are this year’s seniors plans? Here are the career plans for the Class of 2009:
2 year college 69%
4-year college 15%
Other training 4%.
This year’s seniors are another very unique group. One thing I want to say about them is that as a group they are better prepared for the future than my fellow high school classmates were upon my high school graduation. Thanks to the parents for your time and effort you devote to your children. Not only while in high school but after high school as well.
