The Best Jobs!
Ever wonder what are some of the best jobs? Of course, many things factor into what is a good job. What is a good job or occupation for one person isn’t necessarily a good or great job for the next. When I did a search on Google for the “best jobs,” I came up with several references to various websites. One of the sites I went to was http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/bestjobs/. It listed the following top 10 best jobs.
1. Software engineer
2. College professor
3. Financial advisor
4. Human resources manager
5. Physician assistant
6. Market research analyst
7. Computer IT analyst
8. Real estate appraiser
These jobs were researched based on several factors including: growth, pay, stress-levels, and other factors. I’m not saying we should obtain training in one of these occupations. I’m just providing information for people to consider in planning their future.
This site provides additional information such as: the top 50 best jobs in America; how does your job stack up; most satisfied employees work longer; big jobs that pay badly and more.
The Best Companies To Work For in 2006
One more site I like is http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/bestcompanies/. This site lists the “Fortune 100 Best Companies To Work For in 2006.” The top 5 on the list are:
3. Valero Energy
4. Griffin Hospital
5. W.L. Gore.
This site also contains a list of the “Top Paying Companies” in the U.S. The top 5 are:
1. Russell Investment Group
2. Morrison & Foerster
3. Bingham McCutchen
4. Republic Bancorp
5. Nixon Peabody.
In addition this site also provides the “Best Employers in Your State.” However, only some states are listed and North Dakota is one state that isn’t listed. If you live out of state or if you are thinking of moving out of state, you may find this of interest.
